Eating Disorders

Specialised nutritional support for anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge-eating disorder and other eating disorders.

Eating disorders are characterised by irregular eating patterns and significant distress or concern about body weight or shape. They are not only about food — they are often connected to psychological, social and emotional factors.

Eating disorders include anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge-eating disorder, pica, rumination disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) and other specified feeding or eating disorders.

Treating eating disorders requires an approach grounded in understanding, respect and absence of judgement. Every person has their own story and their own relationship to food, so the nutritional support is always tailored to the needs and pace of the individual.

The goal of nutritional guidance is the gradual restoration of a more balanced and healthy relationship with food, without strict rules or restrictions that may amplify anxiety around eating. Through a safe and supportive environment, the person can redefine their eating habits and develop greater trust in their body.

The approach is built on:

  • personalised nutritional guidance
  • understanding the individual’s needs and difficulties
  • a safe and supportive environment
  • gradual return to balanced eating habits
  • collaboration with other health professionals when needed

This work takes time, patience and support. The aim is the creation of a healthier and more balanced relationship with food.
